The Berkshire Bach Society presents professional choral and instrumental concerts of Baroque music year round in the Berkshires of Western Massachusetts.
Since 1990, we have been producing concerts, lectures, and seminars as well as outreach programs in Berkshire area schools to promote the appreciation of Baroque music, in particular the genius of Johann Sebastian Bach (1685 - 1750).
The 2004-2005 season includes concerts of Vivaldi's music, choral & orchestral works of Bach, Handel and others, and a New Year's Eve/New Year's Day pair of Bach Orchestral Suite programs. Additional events are in the planning phase, including our annual major Spring Choral Concert, which includes Bach's Magnificat.
