Cool Colebrook Christmas celebration

COLEBROOK — Residents were filled with Christmas cheer at the ninth annual Colebrook Holiday Fair Saturday, Dec. 11.
The event included more than 35 vendors selling all kinds of toys, sculptures, artwork, wreaths, cookies, candies and essentially anything and everything related to the holiday season.
Next door at the Colebrook Congregational Church, excited children waited in line for a visit with Santa Claus.
Over at the Colebrook Historical Society, a silent auction featuring handmade wreaths and crafts was held to benefit the society.
“We have vendors come back every single year because it’s just such a wonderful event,” fair organizer Amanda D’Urso said. “This is technically one of the last holiday events of the season, and it’s a nice community effort.”
