Winsted — Susan R. Centrella, 67, of Spencer Street died Jan. 25, 2010, as the result of a traffic accident on Jan. 20. Death occurred at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford, after life support measures failed.
She was the widow of Ralph Centrella, who died in 1992.
Born in Manhattan, N.Y., Sue spent most of her life in Winsted and was a school crossing guard for the past 22 years.
Her survivors include a son, George Centrella and his wife-to-be, Trisha Bressette, of Winsted; and her granddaughter, Kaylee.
Funeral services and burial will be held at a later date. Calling hours will be held on Friday, Feb. 5, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Maloney Funeral Home, Winsted.
